- PROBLEMAn August 20, 2025 federal order made final a $149,915.85 fine notice against Super Good Movers, LLC over employee eligibility (Form I-9) paperwork
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement alleged that Super Good Movers, LLC failed to prepare and/or present the Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) for 67 employees. ICE served a Notice of Intent to Fine on the company on May 6, 2022, seeking $149,915.85; the company asked for a hearing. ICE filed the complaint with the Justice Department's Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer on April 2, 2024 (OCAHO Case No. 2024A00096). The company did not answer the complaint or respond to the judge's Notice and Order to Show Cause of July 9, 2025. On August 20, 2025 the judge dismissed its hearing request as abandoned and made the Notice of Intent to Fine the final agency order. The orders name the company itself as respondent. ICE served its notice through the company's office manager, [name withheld], and asked that the complaint be served through [name withheld] at an El Paso address; Texas DMV lists [name withheld] as the company's owner.
This is a civil administrative order reached because the company stopped participating; the judge took no evidence on the alleged violations. It is not a criminal charge and does not find that any worker was unauthorized. Whether the fine was paid, reduced or further appealed was not found in the records read.
The case concerns the company's employment paperwork, not its moving services or customer complaints.

The one- and two-star reviews repeatedly describe damaged furniture and appliances followed by small settlement offers (several cite the 60-cents-per-pound basic coverage), final bills well above the estimate or hourly jobs that ran long, items missing or alleged stolen, crew conduct, and calls not returned after a claim. Eight one- or two-star reviews in the samples are dated 2026; for example, a June 21, 2026 review of a move across the state describes broken furniture and unreturned calls about compensation. A review of August 24, 2023 alleges the crew would not release the customer's goods until an extra $3,000 was paid. The company replied to 6 of the 117 reviews read. The newest positive reviews describe punctual, careful crews and repeat customers, several naming the same crew members.
